Dan Couper started in the early years as a professional pianist, as one half of a piano duo playing works for two pianos for foyer concerts at the Royal Festival Hall and the National Theatre in London.
Always intrigued by jazz music, Dan found his craft at the Johnny Dankworth & Cleo Laine School of Jazz.
One day, he bumped into the legendary Geno Washington, and after developing a strong relationship with him, he ended up as a keyboard player for the Ram Jam Band, playing R&B and Soul.
With a keen interest in music composition in his early 20's, Dan had a contract with a library music company where he composed a total of 5 concept albums and now over 300 tracks published.
Several of his musical creations includes music for Channel 4 - Dispatches and , BBC2 -Horizon.
